Katy Perry brought her pop star power to this weekend's "Saturday Night Live." As the night's musical guest, Katy hit the high notes for the television debut of her song "Walking On Air."
With the help of some lighting and her dancers manipulating sheer fabrics, Katy created the illusion that she was floating on the SNL stage. The singer also used some strobe lights to create the mood for her dance-inspired track.
"Walking On Air" followed her much more elaborate performance of "Roar." Dressed as the jungle girl from the song's video, Katy transformed the stage with trees and plants. To give the performance a comedic edge, her band and backup singers dressed up in silly animal costumes. Katy's new album Prism is set to drop on October 22nd.
